You must train a cat to obey your commands. The “come” command is one of the most important ones. If you have a habit of letting your cat outside on her own, it becomes all the more important to teach her the “come” command in order to get her inside the house. Many owners have spent countless hours chasing their cat. So, if you don’t want to be seen running after your pet, start training her now.

A cat without the basic learning about commands is difficult to handle. You can’t make her do things you want her to do. Therefore, every cat owner must train a cat to make her an obedient pet.

Tips To Train A Cat To Come

You must have a treat handy while training a cat. Besides, a training wand is helpful to draw your pussy’s attention. When you utter the word “come” and your cat comes to you, you must pat her on the back and let her touch the training wand. Once she does this, click and reward her with a treat. Again, show her the wand. Trail it around to make her follow it. Then, draw the wand towards you and speak the word “come” along with your pet’s name. If she does it right, reward her. If not, try again.

Repeat the same process in the next room so that your cat understands that this command has to be followed at every place.
